Detailsview updating newvalues empty sermon audio dating
Hello, I am using a combination of a Grid View and a Form View to allow editing of a large table.
The Grid View displays the main fields and a "Select" button opens a Form View in the edit mode to allow editing of all the fields.
I want to do something simple like this: form View. Data Bind(); All the examples i've come across show a declerative data source being used. I can get the information going through the cells by parsing the html but that smells funny.
the Form View Update Event Args always has the Old Values and New Values collection empty.(Keys is too).
Finally, after step 2, the Row Updated event of the Grid View fires; an event handler for this event can examine additional information about the update operation that was just performed.
Figure 1 depicts this series of events and steps when updating a Grid View.
Therefore, the Update Parameters collection of the Object Data Source contained a parameter for each of the method's input parameters.
The Object Data Source would then pass in a NULL value into the Update Product method of the Business-Logic Layer (BLL), which would change the edited database record's Quantity Per Unit column to a NULL value.
The page has, among other things, two Form Views and a Grid View control, each with its own Sql Data Source.
Net 2.0 framework, and I have a serious problem with the page I'm currently working on.
(Click on the picture for a larger image.) In this tutorial, we'll examine using these events to extend the built-in inserting, updating, and deleting capabilities of the ASP. We'll also see how to customize the editing interface to update only a subset of the product fields.
In the editing interfaces from the previous tutorial, all product fields that were not read-only had to be included.
